WhatsApp is always improving to make chatting easier. The latest feature focuses on voice messages. This new tool, now in testing, aims to make voice replies quicker and simpler. Here are the key details.
Quick Replies to Voice Messages coming to Whatsapp
As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a feature that lets you reply to voice messages instantly. This feature, found in WhatsApp Beta version 2.24.26.6 for Android, makes it easy to record and send your reply while listening to a voice message.
A new button will appear next to voice messages. You can tap it to record your response without needing to use the “reply” button. This makes conversations smoother and faster.
Testing and Future Plans
Right now, only a small group of users can try this feature. Not all features tested make it to the final app, but if all goes well, it could roll out to everyone soon. WhatsApp hasn’t shared a timeline for the release yet.

WhatsApp is also working on improving notifications. A new system will help prevent missed messages. It uses an algorithm to find the contacts you chat with most often. Then, it sends reminders about unread messages from them. This helps users stay connected with important people.
