Xiaomi has started rolling out its July 2025 security patch update. Xiaomi 13 Ultra – Chinese build, also on Android 15

The release is staggered by region, which is typical for Xiaomi. Updates come through stable channels first, then regional ones, depending on where you are.

According to Xiaomi, aside from the 15 security patches in this July 2025 update—none of which have full public disclosures yet—there are a few under-the-hood changes.

Users with the Redmi Note 13 4G NFC will see smoother animations and a slightly altered wallpaper blur effect. Is it a game changer? No. But small touches can add up. If you have a Xiaomi 13 Ultra, you’re getting a bit more: system stability improvements, plus tweaks to how the device manages storage.
