Steam gaming website continues to make headlines with its constant discounts and offers. The offers have boosted user traffic and kept the site busy for months. Last week, Steam released a new list of its most downloaded PC games—and it’s a mixture of free-to-play oldies and newly released titles that are making waves.

Steam’s Most Downloaded Games of the Week – July 8 Rankings Revealed

On the number one position is Counter-Strike 2, or CS2. Number one for four consecutive weeks, the game has competitive play as well as team modes that continue to fascinate players.

Jointly, surprisingly taking second position is Steam Deck, the handheld console of Valve. Even a non-game, its inclusion shows the number of players making handheld gaming investments.
