Zoom into the Future: Honor 400 Series Boasts 200 MP Camera

Earlier this month, Honor launched its budget-friendly device, Honor 400 Lite. While we are waiting for the flagship models, Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro, we have the honor to receive a new leak detailing some features of the upcoming handsets. According to rumors from China, the company will launch the Honor 400 and its pro model in May.

Smaller Display for the Standard Model

According to the leak, the Honor 400 will have a 6.55-inch screen. That’s smaller than the 6.7-inch display used on last year’s model. This change was rumored before and now seems more likely.

The screen will have a 1.5K resolution and use LTPS OLED tech. That means it won’t support full LTPO refresh rate control, so you won’t get the smoothest variable refresh rate experience.

Bigger, More Powerful Honor 400 Pro

The Honor 400 Pro will keep the 6.7-inch size. It uses the same 1.5K LTPS OLED panel as the regular version.

Under the hood, the Honor 400 runs on a Snapdragon 7 series chip. The Pro model is set to go even higher, featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This chip is noted for featuring in flagship devices, so we can expect flagship-level performance from the Honor 400 series.

Powerful Cameras on Both

Both phones come with a 200 MP main camera. But the Pro version adds a 50 MP telephoto lens, which should help with zoom and portraits.

Premium Build and Strong Battery

The leak also says both phones will have a metal frame, giving them a more premium feel.

As for the battery, it’s expected to start at 7 (likely referring to 7,000mAh or something close, though the full number wasn’t mentioned in the leak). We’ll need to wait for official specs to confirm this.

Launch Expected in May

If the leak is right, we should see the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro launch in May. With powerful chips, big cameras, and solid build quality, both phones could be strong options in the mid-range and flagship markets.
