It was only last week when Apple confirmed that it is facing a delay in launching the new and improved version of Siri that was promised last year. Now, another rumored development is facing launch issues because of the setbacks related to Siri.
There was supposedly a March release of a new smart home hub from the Cupertino-based tech giant, and it now remains unknown when it will arrive as the launch has also been delayed.
Many have already been waiting for the promised upgrades for Siri that will make it more advanced than ever, particularly as the AI assistant has been significantly struggling over the years against its rivals.
Apple Reportedly Postpones Smart Home Hub Release This March
A new report from Mark Gurman (via the Power On newsletter on Bloomberg) shares the news that Apple’s plans to deliver a new smart home hub has hit a snag, and the company is now postponing its release indefinitely. The report adds that Apple was planning to unveil the new device this month, but that will no longer the case.
There are already several employees who were chosen by the company to preview and test the device at their respective homes, but so far, this is the only development behind the smart home hub.
It should be noted that Apple has not confirmed the existence of this new smart home hub as of press time.

Apple and Its Development of New Smart Home Tech
When it comes to smart homes, one of Apple’s biggest rumored developments is its so-called HomePod with display, which will offer an iPad-like screen that will replace the previous gesture controls on top of the smart speaker.
Moreover, it was also revealed by sources that Apple is working on expanding its smart home experiences by developing its new operating system, the homeOS, which will also power the HomePod with display.
In addition, it was reported that Apple is developing an unnamed smart home device with a robotic arm, one that can swing around in place to give users a truly hands-free experience for various household needs.
For almost two years now, these have been some of the talks circulating in the tech landscape about what Apple has to offer this niche, but so far, the company has no concrete answers about these.
