Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ Will Launch in China This Month – New Budget Kings?

The Redmi Note series still has a special place in the hearts of Xiaomi fans. The budget smartphone lineup brought great smartphones all those past generations, that combined good specifications with an affordable price. While nowadays the spotlights could be set to devices above this lineup, they’re still among the most popular Redmi phones. Now, the brand is gearing up to introduce the latest additions to the Redmi Note 15 series, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+. Redmi General Manager, Wang Teng Thomas, has just confirmed on social media that the Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be unveiled in China this month. So we have from August 13th to August 31st to see the new devices.
Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Coming This Month With High-End Specs and Features
Unfortunately, the company has not specified the launch date at this time. However, we should hear about it very soon, as there are only two weeks left until August. Interestingly, he confirmed that the Note 15 Pro series will come with high-end quality. That could mean a premium, but or specificaitons that almost touch the flagship segment. According to some rumors, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ could be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It is also rumored to boast a 1.5K resolution display with minimal bezels. It also has a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP telephoto shooter. The device will include a battery capacity between 7,000 mAh and 7,999 mAh. Such capacity suggests the use of a Silicon Carbon battery, which makes sense as Xiaomi has been investing heavily in this technology.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Note 15 Pro will offer “drop resistance and waterproofing” that’s better than the Honor X70. Moreover, the Pro+ will get an upgraded screen and cameras alongside better durability. As per the leaks, the Pro+ will also be the first in the series to include satellite connectivity in China.
Besides the launch confirmation, the executive also shared that the Redmi Note lineup has been shipped to more than 100 countries and is the best-selling smartphone in China in the $175 and $499 price bracket in H1 2025.
