Samsung’s latest software push brings the July 2025 security patch to five Galaxy phones—including some of its most popular foldables and a few mid-range workhorses.

Here’s What’s Getting Updated

The July patch is now rolling out to the following models:

Galaxy A36 5G (Firmware: A366BXXS4AYF9)
Galaxy Z Flip 4 (Firmware: F721NKSS6HYFD)
Galaxy Z Fold 4 (Firmware: F936NKSS6HYFD)
Galaxy XCover 7 Pro (Firmware: G766BXXS2AYG1)

Right now, availability is region-specific. The Galaxy S21 FE is getting the update in Brazil, while the Galaxy A36 5G and XCover 7 Pro are seeing it in Europe. As for foldables, both the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 updates are going live in South Korea.

This is a staged rollout, so if you don’t see the update yet, don’t panic—it might take a few hours (or days) before it reaches your phone.
