Meta unveiled substantial WhatsApp Business features to its WhatsApp Business Platform. The announcement was made at Meta’s Conversations conference in Miami. The new updates aim to allow businesses to have ads, customer chat, and support on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram all in one place.

Meta Announces Significant WhatsApp Business Features for Smarter Marketing and Customer Support

One of the main changes is the ability to create and run ads from a single dashboard. Businesses can now use Meta’s Ads Manager to manage all three platforms at once. They can use the same images, videos, and budgets without repeating the process each time. Campaigns can be run across chats, feeds, and even WhatsApp Status.

Businesses can upload their own customer contact lists or simply let Meta’s AI do the job. Another advantage, Meta’s AI-driven system, helps show ads to the right individuals at the right time. It does so to enhance results while saving time.

The other major release is the pilot launch of Meta’s Business AI assistant. The assistant helps enable businesses to better manage customer messages. It is capable of responding to common questions, tracking orders, verifying purchases, and sending delivery alerts. It can also suggest personalized products, making it convenient for the users to shop.

Meta Brings AI, Voice Calls, and Unified Ads to WhatsApp Business

Meta is also launching voice and video calling capabilities for larger businesses. Calls can be in use for real time customer support, remote consultations, or product demos. For example, health companies can now directly chat with patients through WhatsApp. Meta is testing the feature with a few partners and will expand it in the future.

Also, the goal of these releases is to help companies build greater service and grow consumer loyalty. Companies can respond more swiftly and talk to consumers more directly. By bringing together communication and advertising functionality within a single platform.

Meta encourages companies to experiment with the new features and give feedback. This will improve future work on the platform.

So, with these added features, WhatsApp is no longer just a chat app. It’s now an integrated tool for marketing, customer service, and business growth.
