Samsung Unveils Galaxy F56: Powerful Exynos 1480 in a Sleek 7.2mm Body

Samsung launched the Galaxy F56 recently. It is 7.2mm thick, now the thinnest of the F-series. It has some of the same features that were introduced on the Galaxy M56 when it launched last April.

Galaxy F56 features a massive 6.7-inch OLED display. It includes Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for seamless scrolling. It is Gorilla Glass Victus+ protected. Also, it supports up to 1,200 nits of maximum brightness in High Brightness Mode and therefore isn’t too challenging to read in daylight outside in direct sunlight.

Internally, the phone relies on the Exynos 1480 processor with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. There is a choice for users regarding storage space either 128GB or 256GB. Galaxy F56 runs One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung guarantees that the phone will get six major Android upgrades.

The battery is a huge 5,000mAh one. It supports 45W wired charging but not wireless charging. The back of the phone is also Gorilla Glass Victus+ protected. The frame is plastic, though the camera module is metal. A premium vapor chamber is used for cooling.

The main camera is 50MP with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support. The main camera can record video in 4K at 30fps, as well as 10-bit HDR. The camera is also present with Portrait 2.0 mode with zoom at 2x for additional depth. It also comes with a front 12MP camera.

Galaxy F56 also comes with certain Galaxy AI features incorporated. Some of them are Object Eraser and Edit Suggestion to edit your photos. Galaxy F56 is also compatible with Samsung Wallet’s new Tap & Pay option. Speaking of security, Samsung Knox comes pre-installed to safeguard your data.

The phone is available now in India. The price of the 8GB/128GB model is ₹26,000 (about $305), and the cost of the 8GB/256GB model is ₹29,000 (about $340).
