April 29, 2025
Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find X8 Pro in October as one of the first smartphones sporting MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 CPU. Although Oppo hasn’t been consistent in the time frame for Oppo X series upgrades, for now, we can suppose the Oppo Find X9 Pro will launch at the same time this year. That said, the first leaks about the upcoming flagship are popping out in the wild. The most recent buzz indicates that the Oppo Find X9 Pro will bring major alterations to the camera setup when compared to its predecessor.
Oppo Find X9 Series To Switch Things in Camera Department
According to new rumors from China, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will come with only three cameras, unlike the X8 Pro, which has four. There will be only one periscope shooter, and the company will adopt a large 200 MP sensor. The company should adopt the same Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor that is widely used by other smartphone makers. With the use of this large sensor, the need for two separate periscope shooters will disappear.
Under the hood, the Oppo Find X9 Pro should keep Oppo’s partnership with MediaTek. Therefore, we expect the smartphone to adopt the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. Earlier this year, rumors were floating about the Oppo Find X9 series. The rumors say that Oppo will launch four models this time around. The lineup will consist of four models – Find X9, Find X9+, X9 Pro, and X9 Ultra. They will allegedly sport flat screens, with the Find X9 having the smallest screen size, similar to that of the recently released Find X8s.
There is still a long road ahead for those waiting for the Oppo Find X9 series launch. In fact, there is still no confirmation regarding the launch of the series in October this year. Oppo had been changing the time of launch of the Find series multiple times in the past years. We need to wait for further confirmation, while the leaks will certainly keep popping out. It is worth noting, that Oppo launched some refreshed variants like the Oppo Find X8S, X8S+ and X8 Ultra, so the X8 series is still fresh.
