We’re seeing the birth of a new era in the smartphone scene with devices delivering bigger and bigger batteries every month. Gone are the times of flagships sporting “just”4,000mAh batteries; we’ve entered the era of batteries bigger than 7,000mAh. There is a growing competition in the segment to see which brand will be the one to deliver the biggest battery. In this regard, Xiaomi is unveiling today the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro as its latest flagship killer smartphone. The device comes with an outstanding 7,550 mAh battery, one of the biggest in our recent records. The device is more than a battery monster and delivers performance with the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Let’s dive into its key specifications and features.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Specifications and Features

To recall, the Redmi Turbo 4 was one of the first Xiaomi smartphones released in 2025. Now, the device is getting a Pro variant sequel with the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Where exactly is this device positioned in the market? Well, it will be a cost-effective flagship competing with the likes of the recently released Realme GT 7.

It is also an interesting phone since it’s the first with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The new chipset is also a more affordable variant in Qualcomm’s flagship 8 series. It succeeds the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 from last year. The Realme Turbo 4 Pro comes with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Internal Storage.

The Turbo 4 Pro is equipped with 6000 square millimeters dual-loop 3D ice cooling and Rage Engine 4.0 software tuning technology. Furthermore, it adopts a large R corner design with a corner radius of 12.4m. The device is said to have consistent curvature inside and outside.

90W Charging and 22.5W Charging

As stated above, one of Turbo 4 Pro’s highlights is its massive 7,550 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W charging. This huge battery can be used as a power bank to charge other devices with reverse wired charging. Interestingly, the reverse charging capabilities are great with up to 22.5W speeds. That’s decent, considering that other devices will charge considerably faster in this smartphone. For comparison, many low-end smartphones still support only 18W charging nowadays.

The Realme Turbo 4 Pro comes with a huge 6.83-inch OLED screen with 2,772 x 1,280 pixels of resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also houses an optical fingerprint scanner and Xiaomi advertises it with up to 1,600 nits of peak local brightness. The panel is quite slim with minimal bezels and a punch-hole at the top center for the selfie camera. Talking about this snapper, it’s a 20 MP camera with 1080p 60fps video recording.

In terms of optics, the Turbo 4 Pro comes with a 50 MP main camera (LYT-600) and an 8 MP ultrawide module, just like the non-Pro Redmi Turbo. Furthermore, it has a neat light ring that supports brightness adjustment.

On the software side, it is covered by Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The device is also IP68 water and dust resistant. The smartphone uses CNC + Sandblasting technology and a Metal middle frame made of aviation aluminum alloy. The whole machine has a bending resistance of 70 kg, says Xiaomi.

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro sells in Black, White, and Green color options. Xiaomi also partners with Warner Bros. on a special Harry Potter Edition.
