Samsung has launched the Galaxy F16, a new budget smartphone. However, it is not entirely new. It is a rebranded Galaxy M16, which was based on the Galaxy A16. The main difference is its colors. The F16 comes in three shades: Vibing Blue, Bling Black, and Glam Green. These colors feature Samsung’s Ripple Glow effect, giving the phone a stylish touch.

Samsung Galaxy F16 5G: Display and Performance

The Galaxy F16 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate, making scrolling smoother. The phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, ensuring decent performance for daily use and moderate gaming.

Battery and Charging

A 5,000mAh battery powers the F16, providing all-day usage. The phone supports 25W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge when needed. This ensures less downtime and more productivity.

The Galaxy F16 is available in three configurations: 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. All variants come with 128GB of internal storage. If needed, users can expand the storage using a microSD card.

Software and Updates

The phone runs on One UI 7, based on Android 15. Samsung promises six years of Android updates and six years of security updates. This makes the F16 a great long-term investment for users looking for reliable software support.

Price and Availability

In India, the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs INR 11,499 ($131). This is INR 1,000 cheaper than the Galaxy M16 with the same configuration. Samsung aims to make the F16 a more affordable option in the budget segment.

The phone will be available starting March 13 at 12 PM. Users can buy it from Samsung India’s website and partner retail stores.
