Mario Day brings major discounts on Nintendo Switch games and accessories

Nintendo fans have reason to celebrate as Mario Day brings significant price cuts on a range of Mario-themed games and accessories. Running until March 16, the sale offers some of the lowest prices seen on classic and new Mario titles, along with discounts on controllers, Lego sets, and other merchandise.
Top game deals
Several Mario games are now available at reduced prices. Notable deals include Super Mario Bros. Wonder, now priced at $42 at Walmart and Nintendo, down from its usual $60. The game features a side-scrolling adventure with fresh gameplay mechanics.
Meanwhile, Super Mario Odyssey, the first mainline Mario game on the Switch, is available for $40 at Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The game is known for its innovative mechanics and open-world exploration.
Other highlights include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at $40, down from $60, available at multiple retailers. The popular racing game offers a vast selection of tracks and characters, with an optional expansion adding 48 more courses. Additionally, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is now just $15 at Nintendo, making it one of the most affordable options in the sale.
More game discounts
Several other Mario titles have received price drops. Super Mario RPG, a well-received remake of the classic SNES game, is now $38 at Walmart, Amazon, and Target. Princess Peach: Showtime!, a title focusing on Peach as the main protagonist, is also on sale for $39.99, its lowest price to date.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is available at Woot for $41.99, a discount of $18. The game includes a remastered version of the Wii U classic along with an open-world expansion. Additionally, Luigi’s Mansion 3 is discounted to $40 at Nintendo, GameStop, and Walmart. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, a remake of Dark Moon, is also at a new low of $40.
Other notable sales include Mario vs. Donkey Kong for $30 at Walmart and GameStop, and Yoshi’s Crafted World for $39.99 at Walmart, GameStop, and Nintendo.
Mario-themed hardware and accessories
Nintendo is offering a Super Mario Bros. Wonder bundle for $349.99 at Nintendo, Walmart, and Best Buy. The bundle includes a Nintendo Switch OLED, a digital copy of the game, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription, providing a total savings of around $68.
For those looking to upgrade their controllers, Amazon is offering discounts on Mario-themed PowerA wireless controllers, bringing the price down to $33.74. These controllers feature motion controls and Bluetooth support, though they lack HD Rumble and other advanced features of Nintendo’s Pro Controller.
Lego sets and collectibles
Lego fans can grab the Lego Piranha Plant set for $48 at Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Other sets on sale include Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set at Best Buy for $25.49 and Goombas’ Playground for $10.99.
Collectors may also be interested in The Art of Super Mario Odyssey, which is currently available for $28.49 at Amazon. The book includes 368 pages of concept art and sketches from the 2017 Mario title.
