Apple has started pre-orders for the iPhone 16e. At the same time, the device appeared in two certification listings, giving more details about its specs and performance.

iPhone 16e Spotted on Geekbench with Strong Scores

The iPhone 16e showed up on Geekbench under the alias “iPhone 17,5.” It scored 2,706 in single-core tests and 7,942 in multi-core tests. The binned A18 chip inside delivers 17% lower single-core performance than the iPhone 16. However, its multi-core score is nearly the same.

This means that while it may be slightly slower in single-core tasks, it will still perform well in multitasking and demanding apps.

8GB RAM Confirmed for Apple Intelligence

Geekbench results confirm that the iPhone 16e has 8GB of RAM. This meets the system requirements for Apple Intelligence. More RAM improves multitasking, speeds up apps, and enhances AI-powered features.

China’s 3C Certification Reveals 29W Fast Charging

The iPhone 16e also appeared in China’s 3C certification database. It was listed under model number A3410. The listing confirms it supports up to 29W charging. This matches the rest of the iPhone 16 lineup.

Apple’s charging speeds are still lower than some competitors. However, 29W fast charging will help users charge their devices quickly and reduce waiting time.

What This Means for Buyers

These early listings provide key insights into the iPhone 16e. While its single-core performance is slightly lower than the iPhone 16, its multi-core performance remains strong. With 8GB of RAM, it is well-prepared for Apple Intelligence features. Fast charging support ensures users can power up quickly.

Pre-orders are now open. The iPhone 16e offers a solid mix of performance, AI capabilities, and efficient charging. Apple fans looking for a balanced and capable device will find it a great option.
