CES 2025’s Keyvault K1 Brings Smartphone Controls For Cars
A startup company called Keyvault made waves during its showcase at the recently concluded CES 2025 event where it introduced its “K1” device to the world, featuring a new connected experience for cars. Instead of relying on the car’s manufacturer to deliver this new connectivity feature, Keyvault’s K1 can seamlessly connect vehicles that can be controlled via one’s smartphone.
One of the biggest features of the K1 (via The Fast Mode) is that it is universally compatible, and it brings an all-in-one car security solution for users that can transform one’s everyday experience. The new device can monitor a car’s fuel, engine health, temperature, engine speed, and other vehicle statuses, apart from allowing users to control the machines via their smartphones, complete with a lock and unlock feature.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Leak: Price Increase on Color Options
It is already January and that only means that Samsung fans and users are counting the days before the anticipated Unpacked event for the Galaxy S25 series’ unveiling, and leaks are already sharing top expectations for all. Samsung will deliver its new smartphone series shortly, but there are rumors that the company is looking at a price increase for all models of the device.
A European retailer (91 Mobiles) already listed the alleged prices of the new Galaxy S25 series which is speculated to feature a base version, the Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra whose price will vary on what colors they choose. The S25’s base version will start at $939, the S25+ will be available starting at $1,260, and lastly, the S25 Ultra starts at $1,588.
It was revealed that the price increase versus its previous Galaxy S24 is because of the new Galaxy S25 series’ upgrade to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Tencent vs. US: Alleged Chinese Military Ties Lead to Blacklist
The renowned Chinese gaming company and one of the largest in the world, Tencent, faced massive scrutiny in the United States where it was suspected to have ties to China’s military, and are now blacklisted in the country. The United States are treating Tencent as a Chinese military firm which was regarded by the Pentagon, with other Chinese companies also facing this massive block.
It will significantly affect the many games available worldwide, not only in the US, as Tencent is known for being the owner of Riot Games, the creator of “League of Legends,” as well as owning equity interests in gaming firms like Epic Games, From Software, and more.
Tencent’s first-party games like “Pokemon Unite,” “PUBG Mobile,” and more are speculated to be facing massive losses because of this blacklisting.
