Samsung’s One UI 7, based on Android 15, brings big changes to its interface. The latest beta, now available for the Galaxy S24, shows off these updates. A key improvement is how notifications are handled. Samsung has made it easier to manage alerts while keeping the interface clean and functional.

The Quick Panel now has two sections. One is for quick toggles, like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and the other is for notifications. This separation makes navigation simpler and more efficient. But the real game-changer is the new “Notification Filter,” introduced in Beta 2 about ten days ago.
The Notification Filter organizes alerts based on their importance. Critical notifications appear at the top, while less important ones shift to a lower section. This feature helps users focus on what matters most.

You can find this option in the advanced settings menu. It lets you customize how notifications are filtered. For example, you can move older alerts, background activity notifications, or manually minimized ones to a section called “Other Notifications.” When activated, these alerts appear in a separate tab below the main notification panel.
Managing notifications has always been tricky. Over the years, smartphones have become central to our daily lives, with countless apps sending constant updates. This flood of information can be overwhelming. Samsung’s new tool aims to tackle this issue head-on.
With the Notification Filter, users can enjoy a cleaner and more organized screen. Important alerts stay visible, while less relevant ones are tucked away. This small but powerful change helps users stay focused and reduces distractions.

One UI 7 not only looks better but also works smarter. Samsung is setting a new standard for notification management, making smartphones less stressful and more efficient.
