The Android market is set for an exciting year in 2025. Major brands are preparing their next flagship devices. Vivo is one of these brands. After releasing the vivo X200 and X200 Pro, the company is now working on the vivo X200 Ultra. This new model is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025. Recent leaks have revealed key details about its camera.
Vivo X200 Ultra: Similar Camera Setup to the X100 Ultra
The vivo X200 Ultra will feature a camera system similar to the X100 Ultra. Reports suggest it will have three rear cameras. These include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

A big upgrade, however, is its video capability. All cameras will support 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. This is great news for video enthusiasts. The phone will also include a new image processing chip developed by vivo. This chip should improve photo and video quality.
Subtle Design Changes
The design of the camera island will see small changes. It will still resemble the setup on the X100 Ultra but with some refinements. These updates aim to improve the overall user experience.
Limited Availability
Unlike the X200 and X200 Pro, which are available in Western markets, the X200 Ultra might be exclusive to China. This strategy could limit its reach but may appeal to vivo’s core market.
What’s Next for Vivo?
Vivo is pushing boundaries with its X200 Ultra. The focus on camera technology and performance highlights its ambition. However, the company faces strong competition in the flagship market.
