Nothing has officially announced that its next product will debut in April 2025. While the marketing name remains under wraps, speculation points to the launch of new smartphones, including the Nothing Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Plus, and CMF Phone 2. These models were recently spotted on the IMEI database, sparking excitement about the brand’s future lineup.

Upcoming smartphones hinted in IMEI database

Three devices linked to Nothing were discovered in the IMEI database, identified by model numbers A059, A059P, and A001. These are rumoured to correspond to the Nothing Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Plus, and CMF Phone 2. The codenames “asteroids,” “asteroids Plus,” and “galaga” add intrigue to the mystery surrounding these products.

Performance details for the Phone (3a) have already surfaced. The device appeared on Geekbench, scoring 1,149 on single-core and 2,813 on multi-core tests. It should feature 8GB of RAM and run Android 15 out of the box.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset expected

According to rumours, the Nothing Phone (3a) will come with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, delivering a solid balance of performance and efficiency. This chipset might also power the CMF Phone 2, aligning with Nothing’s focus on innovative mid-range devices.

The Phone (3a) should include notable camera capabilities, such as 4K video recording at 60fps and slow-motion recording at up to 480fps in 1080p resolution. These features highlight Nothing’s dedication to providing high-quality imaging tools at competitive price points.
