Xiaomi’s newest tablets, the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are gearing up for a global launch. Recent certifications from multiple regions, such as SDPPI in Indonesia and BIS in India, strongly suggest the international release is just around the corner. Additionally, the tablets have secured approval from UAE’s TDRA, further confirming their readiness to hit global markets.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 and 7 Pro have been listed on the TDRA database with model numbers 2410CRP4CG and 24091RPADG, respectively. These listings confirm they are Wi-Fi-only versions. Both tablets are expected to launch globally alongside the Xiaomi 15 series smartphones, one of which recently received certification from Thai regulators.

The Pad 7 and 7 Pro are expected to keep the great features of the versions released in China. The vanilla 7 will have the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, which is good for daily use and moderate gaming. The Pad 7 Pro will have a stronger Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, making it better for more demanding tasks. This chipset effectively makes the Pro variant a flagship tablet.

Xiaomi Pad 7 and 7 Pro Specifications

Both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will have a big 11.2-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a sharp resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels. These screens will have a smooth refresh rate of up to 144Hz, making scrolling and animations look fluid. They also have low blue light certification, helping to protect your eyes during long use.

In terms of optics, the Pad 7 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera with a large sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. It supports 4K Recording as well. The Pad 7 will come with a 13MP camera that also takes great pictures but with a smaller sensor and an f/2.2 aperture. Both tablets will have high-quality front cameras for video calls and selfies. The Pad 7 Pro gets a 32MP camera, while the Pad 7 features an 8 MP one.

The Pad 7 has an 8,850 mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support. The Pro, on the other hand, brings 65W charging while keeping the battery size. They also offer the latest connectivity options like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. These tablets will run on Xiaomi’s newest Android skin, probably based on Android 14.
