iQOO unveiled its iQOO 13 series in China in November and is bringing the iQOO 13 to India on December 3. Yesterday, we saw the Neo10 and Neo10 Pro launching in China. These devices are also expected for the global markets soon. According to the reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav, the brand is planning to unveil the iQOO Neo 10R in India soon. It would be the first R variant to come under this series in the country.
iQOO Neo 10R Coming Soon – New Smartphone or Just a Rebranding?
The brand never released a smartphone with the “R” suffix, and that has been a tradition for OnePlus and its R flagships. According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 10R will offer three storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Considering the base model with 128 GB of storage, we believe that iQOO may play with the upper mid-range segment with this smartphone.

The exact details about the hardware remain under wraps. However, the brand’s recent past in the country may give us some idea of what to expect. The iQOO Neo 10R could be just a rebadged iQOO Neo 10 or 10 Pro. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro in India, for example, was a rebadged Chinese Neo 9. Also, we had the Legend variants in the past. Considering this, the iQOO Neo 10R could be either the iQOO Neo 10 or the Neo 10 Pro prepared for the Indian market. That would also allow iQOO to launch both smartphones in the country. While they have similar specifications, the chipset and battery size is different. The Neo10 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The 10 Pro, on the other hand, has the Dimensity 9400.

Both the Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro feature a big 6.78-inch 1.5K+ 144Hz 8T LTPO screen. The display is incredibly bright, reaching up to 1800 nits globally and 4500 nits in specific areas. This is a big upgrade from the Neo 9, which had a peak brightness of 1400 nits.
The Neo 10 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Neo 10 Pro features the Dimensity 9400 chipset, both supported by a Q2 gaming chip and a 6400mm² VC cooling system for smooth gaming. They share a Sony IMX921 main camera, but the Pro adds a 50MP ultrawide lens, compared to the Neo 10’s 8MP. Both phones include a 6100mAh battery with 120W fast charging, capable of reaching 50% in just 15 minutes using the 100W PPS protocol.
We expect to hear more details in the coming weeks. Considering iQOO’s event on December 3, and the new reports pointing to the ampliation of the brand’s presence in the country, we will certainly hear more about this iQOO Neo 10R soon.
