One of the biggest integrations to Android Auto that is coming is Spotify, particularly as the company paved the way to overhaul the experience through new media app templates for developers to take advantage of.

That being said, the music streaming company is now making their Spotify Jam experience available for Android Auto to make controlling audio source shareable for different users who has the app. Users may now create shareable QR code links via Android Auto for others to scan and get connected to one source.

Connected users may then add their preferred tracks to the queue or playlist and share their music with others during the trip.

Android Auto Video App Support

While games and communication experiences are already available under beta on Android Auto, Google is adding a new experience to the in-car connected driving system that expands its media features. It was briefly mentioned alongside the browser support that is also coming to Android Auto, and it is speculated that it will only be available when the car is in park.
