Apple’s iOS 19 is set to get a redesign. While it is not expected to deviate very much from previous versions, it is getting the Apple Intelligence upgrade. Furthermore, the company is said to be focusing on three key attributes for its operating system.
It seems the iOS 19 will serve an important purpose, which is to set the stage for what Apple has to offer in the future, including the deeper integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
iOS 19 Redesign Focuses on Three Goals. Says Reports
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman shared in his latest Power On newsletter that Apple’s plans for iOS 19’s redesign outlines three goals that it reportedly wants to achieve with the next operating system release.
First, Apple reportedly wants the iOS 19 to be simpler to use, focusing on a more user-friendly experience that will allow both first-time and long-time iOS users to enjoy what it has to offer without the extra hassle.
Next, the company also wants it to perform faster, which will allow users to easily navigate the ins and outs of the software, amidst all the new things.
Lastly, they want iOS 19 to be “easier to learn” as more advanced technologies appear.

Apple’s Plans for the iOS Redesign
Despite Apple only just announcing the iOS 18 at the last WWDC, it was revealed that the company did not waste any time and went right into the development of iOS 19, which will reportedly be released this year.
However, it is said to not be your typical, run-of-the-mill iOS update like the previous ones as Apple introduced massive experiences via iOS 18 and wants to continue the significant changes it brought in future operating systems.
While iOS 18 offers Apple Intelligence, it remains essentially the same as the previous ones. That seems to not be the case with iOS 19 give Apple’s reported big redesign planned.
No specifics as to how the redesign has been provided, as of press time. However, it has been reported that it will be applied across Apple’s ecosystem.
