Google to officially released the Pixel 10 on August 20

Google has now officially confirmed the date for its much-anticipated Pixel 10 series launch. Please mark your calendar for August 20, the day we’ll finally see what Google has been working on. While earlier rumours pointed to an August 13 launch, Google has not commented on any possible date change. Either way, fans now have a clear and confirmed date to look forward to.

What to Expect at the Event

Google is expected to reveal a range of new products at the event. Some of these products to be unveiled are: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold (a foldable phone), Pixel Watch 4, and possibly even the Pixel Buds 2a. So far, Google is prepping the Pixel model to be the most packed lineup yet, with different varieties for all kinds of users. From those who are fans of big screens to those who love foldables, and so on.

New Features to Look Forward To

The upcoming Pixel 10 phones will bring some cool new features. One of the biggest upgrades is improved macro photography. This allows you to take extremely close-up shots using both the telephoto and ultrawide lenses. Another new feature is support for “Pixelsnap” magnetic accessories. This series will not support this feature like iPhones that have built-in magnets, rather, it will use special cases and not directly from the phone.

A New Chip Built by TSMC

Google Pixel 10 series will be powered by a new chip, the Tensor G5 SoC. This chip is going to power all the models in this new series. In previous models, Google partnered with Samsung to manufacture its Processor chip. But for the first time, the Tensor G5 processor is produced by TSMC. The chipmaker is also known for producing chips for Apple. Thus, this switch could bring better performance and power efficiency to the Pixel models.
