Infinix didn’t issue a press release. No teaser campaign. No flashy keynote. Instead, the Infinix Hot 60i has quietly popped up for sale online in Bangladesh, revealed through a reader tip rather than an official announcement. And yet, here it is—with a full spec sheet, a real price, and at least two color options. While we’re still expecting a more polished rollout for the rest of the Hot 60 series, this early drop suggests the 60i might be positioned as a quieter, entry-level sibling in the family.

Familiar design, with some upgrades

At a glance, the Hot 60i feels like a modest iteration of the Hot 50i—or perhaps even the regular Hot 50. You’ve got a triple-camera setup on the back (though it’s really more of a duo, spec-wise), a plastic chassis, and Gorilla Glass on the front. We’re not told which version of Gorilla Glass, and no IP rating is confirmed, but it’s described as “splash proof”—likely around IPX4 or IP54. It comes in Sleek Black and Titanium Grey, both of which look fairly understated, at least from the photos.

Infinix Hot 60i: Bigger screen, better refresh rate

The display gets a meaningful bump: a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. Brightness tops out at a reported 800 nits, which, if accurate, would make it one of the brighter panels in this price range. It’s large, smooth, and likely to be a major selling point—especially for users upgrading from budget phones with 60Hz or 720p screens.

Hardware and performance

Under the hood, the Hot 60i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate, a solid, if not groundbreaking, budget chipset. Storage and RAM options include:

There’s no word on microSD support, and with a dual Nano-SIM tray, it’s possible there’s no room for expansion. Connectivity checks the right boxes: dual-band Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor rounds out the hardware.

Cameras: what you see vs. what you get

On paper, the main rear camera is a 50MP f/1.8 shooter, capable of Full HD video. There’s a second 2MP lens, likely for depth or macro. And the third module? That’s still a mystery—possibly decorative, possibly a low-res sensor. Up front, you’ll find an 8MP f/2.0 selfie cam. Nothing wild, but functional for the price.

Battery and charging

Battery life could be a standout here: 5,160mAh, paired with 45W fast charging. That’s well above average in this segment. Whether that full 45W is achieved in real-world charging remains to be seen, but on paper, it’s impressive.
