The Nothing Phone (3) is set to launch on July 1, and new leaked official renders give us our best look at the phone yet. These images were shared by Android Headlines and reveal some interesting, and slightly strange, design choices.
Fresh Look in Black and White
The leaked renders show the Nothing Phone (3) in two colors: black and a shade of white that could be described as gray. The front of the phone features a punch-hole display, which is pretty standard for modern smartphones. But it’s the back of the phone that really catches the eye.
Odd Camera Placement Raises Eyebrows
The Nothing Phone (3) has three rear cameras. What stands out is the unusual placement of the top camera; it’s positioned much closer to the phone’s edge than the ones below it. This uneven layout might look odd to some users, and it has already sparked a few debates online.
Nothing has confirmed that the top camera is a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, which allows for zoomed-in shots without losing detail. Rumors suggest that the other two cameras, a main sensor and an ultra-wide, are also 50MP each.
Familiar Glyph and Solid Build
The phone’s back also shows a black circle, which is part of the Glyph Matrix, a signature feature in Nothing phones that lights up for calls, messages, and more.
The Phone (3) is expected to have a metal body, adding to its premium feel. The volume buttons are on the left side, while the power button is on the right. There’s also a mystery button on the right. It will likely be an Essential Key, maybe a shortcut button seen on other recent Nothing models.

Key Specs and Long-Term Support
Along with the 50MP cameras, the Phone (3) will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. That’s a powerful processor for a smooth and fast experience. This device will also come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED screen and a 50MP front camera. To keep its lights on, this smartphone will use a 5,150mAh battery that supports 65W or possibly 100W fast charging
The announcement additionally guarantees longevity through extensive software upgrades spanning five continuous years, alongside comprehensive security protections lasting seven. This establishes the device as a dependable, future-ready selection for consumers. Featuring a sophisticated aesthetic, impressive photographic capabilities, and prolonged maintenance coverage, the Nothing Phone (3) emerges as an attractive option.
