POCO F7 Confirmed With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

POCO is gearing up to introduce its new POCO F7 series with new flagship killers for the competitive market. The launch is officially set for June 24. POCO is feeding us with teasers to keep the hype alive ahead of the date. Now, we have finally received confirmation of the chipset. As rumors have been pointing out, the device will come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
POCO F7 Coming With Performance-Focused Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
POCO took to its global account on X to confirm the new chipset that succeeds the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 from last year. As one can expect, the chipset is an affordable take on the Snapdragon 8 series but with a focus on performance. The chipset goes for a big-core structure. It has 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3,2 GHz, 3 x Cortex-A720 cores at 3,0 GHz, 2 x Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8 GHz, and 2 x Cortex-A720 cores at 2.02 GHz.

As per POCO, the POCO F7 equipped with this CPU scored 2,084,535 on AnTuTu Benchmark. The Indian online retailer Flipkart goes beyond pointing to an over 2.1 million score. Both scores are perfectly possible, as the score tends to vary based on circumstances during the benchmark run.
Flipkart also confirms the phone with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.1 storage onboard, while a 6.000 mm2 3D IceLoop System with “AI temperature control” will keep thermals under control.
POCO has already confirmed the smartphone with a 7,550 mAh battery complete with 90W charging.

We expect all the details regarding the smartphone to be revealed in the coming days. The wait is almost over as June 24 is next week. The smartphone will come in Black, White, and in a Limited Edition with a dual-tone design in which the upper part has a transparent design to further showcase this phone’s take in performance.
