Xiaomi seems to be gearing up for a fresh wave of premium tablets, and one of them—the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro—has just leaked with some eye-catching specs. According to well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, the Pad 7S Pro could mark another step in Xiaomi’s push toward using its own silicon. The tablet is rumored to be powered by the XRing O1 chip, an in-house processor that first appeared in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Xiaomi 15s Pro.
DCS didn’t name the tablet directly, but they did mention a large-screen model launching this month with that chip. Given that context—and the current lineup—it’s almost certainly the Pad 7S Pro.
Positioned Just Right in Xiaomi’s Tablet Line
The Pad 7S Pro will feature a 12.5-inch LCD display, offering a roomy experience for multitasking or media consumption. It’s designed to land right between the Pad 7 Pro and the Ultra variant—so expect upper-mid-tier pricing with some high-end features.
One standout? 120W fast charging. That’s unusually high for a tablet, putting it more in line with Xiaomi’s speed-focused smartphones than its previous slates.
Bluetooth SIG certification recently confirmed both the standard and Soft Light version of the 7S Pro, both listing the same display size. The device also showed up on China’s 3C regulatory site—with a charger capable of hitting that full 120W power draw.
Why XRing Matters
Replacing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Xiaomi’s XRing O1 chip will bring tighter integration with HyperOS—Xiaomi’s latest software layer across devices. The larger body of the tablet means better thermals and potentially fewer performance throttles than you’d see in a smartphone.

That means better CPU output, smoother performance under load, and a more consistent experience for things like gaming, drawing, or heavy multitasking.
Launch Around the Corner?
While Xiaomi hasn’t made anything official yet, the certifications and timing suggest a China launch is likely before the end of June. With four new tablets rumored to arrive this month, the Pad 7S Pro may be just the beginning of Xiaomi’s next big hardware wave.
