A long time has passed since the launch of the iQOO 13 series last October. The lineup that was among the first devices with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite has been around for several months, and at this point, we can only assume that iQOO is working on the next big thing. The tipster Digital Chat Station confirms this with a couple of specifications. The upcoming iQOO 15 series should launch around this Fall as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is getting an earlier release. Let’s see some of the phone’s preliminary specifications.

iQOO 15 Rumored Specifications

According to the popular tipster, the iQOO 15 will come with a Samsung-made 6.85-inch “2K” display.  The “2K” probably stands for something like 2560 x 1,440p but it could be more, and perhaps, come as a QHD+ display with nearly 3,200 x 1800 pixels. The panel is probably an LTPO AMOLED screen, and the tipster suggests the use of LIPO (low injection pressure overmolding) tech in the display packing process. This helps reduce display bezels, delivering what we know as full-screen design.

Besides the new display, iQOO 15 is also expected to come with a periscope camera module. It further affirms iQOO’s new shift towards improving the quality of cameras in its smartphones. The brand that usually focused on raw performance is now also delivering flagship-grade cameras with its new flagships. The new camera is touted as an upgrade from the 2x telephoto found in its predecessor.

The previous rumors also suggest a 7,000 mAh battery in the new flagship. This falls in line with the current capacity of flagships’ batteries in 2025. We expect this to be paired with 100W or even 120W wired charging. We don’t expect an iQOO 15 Pro model, but we can’t discard the return of the so-called Legend variant.

This seems to be just the start for the iQOO 15 in the rumor mill. We expect more details to appear soon, as well as more consistent leaks.
