HONOR has struck a chord with UK consumers. Just days after the launch of its new HONOR 400 Series, the company is already celebrating a massive 183% sales boost compared to the previous generation. It’s proof that cutting-edge AI isn’t just a buzzword; it’s something people want in their pockets.
Honor Breaks New Milestones in the UK with the Honor 400 series
Launched on May 22, the HONOR 400 Series has taken off with a flying start across online and retail channels. The secret sauce? A fresh wave of AI-powered features that go beyond gimmicks. The standout is the AI Image to Video function. The technology that we’ve covered before, it’s a fruit between a collaboration between Google Cloud Labs and Honor. As the name suggests, it turns still shots into moving stories, like having a mini editing studio in your hand.
This launch isn’t just a win in isolation. HONOR’s rise has been steady and strategic. According to Counterpoint Research’s latest data, the brand saw 20% year-on-year growth across Europe in Q1 2025 and is now the fourth-largest smartphone maker on the continent. In a market that’s often slow to excite, HONOR is being dubbed the industry’s “only real bright spot.”
“The HONOR 400 Series is a game changer,” says Bond Zhang, Country Manager at HONOR UK. “It’s rewarding to see our customers respond so enthusiastically. These early numbers show that UK consumers are ready for AI-driven creativity, and we’re just getting started.”
Beyond the numbers, the tech itself speaks volumes. The HONOR 400 Pro has standout features like AI Enhanced Portrait for ultra-crisp shots, and a 50x AI Super Zoom that’s more spy-movie than smartphone. Add to that real-time call translation in up to six languages, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 power under the hood, IP68/69 water and dust resistance, and super-fast charging (100W wired, 50W wireless), and you’ve got a phone that’s aiming to be more than just another upgrade—it’s a statement.
HONOR isn’t new to growth in the UK either. In 2024, the brand saw over 70% year-on-year gains, with its retail and carrier presence expanding significantly. With the 400 Series now in play, HONOR is positioning itself not just as another Android option, but as the go-to for mobile creators and AI enthusiasts alike.
In short? If HONOR’s latest numbers are anything to go by, the UK’s smartphone game just got a serious shake-up—and it’s looking a lot smarter.
Honor Alpha Plan – The Entrance in Robotics Segment
Another interesting development is Honor’s entrance into the robotics development. At the launch of Honor 400 series, Honor also announced another move that further clarifies its new full-fledged AI ecosystem venture. The next evolution coming from HONOR Alpha Plan is the rise of robotics. During the event Honor revealed that it had broken the humanoid running speed record. It achieved a peak speed of 4m/s, powered by Honor’s proprietary AI algorithm.
To clarify, the robot hardware was sourced from Unitree. However, the speed record was achieved using HONOR’s own AI algorithm, trained via Unitree’s open software interface. Furthermore, in April 2025, Honor established a new Industry Incubation Department. It will drive innovation across emerging sectors, including AI agents and embodied AI, as part of the brand’s exploration into new intelligent form factors such as robots.
In other words, Honor will soon develop its robots with powerful AI.
