Motorola has introduced the first phone in its Edge 60 series. It comes with Moto AI right out of the box. Even if AI isn’t your focus, the phone offers many other impressive features.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: A Powerful Smartphone with AI and a Stunning Display

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has a 6.67-inch quad-curved P-OLED display. It features Pantone-validated colors for accuracy. The curves transition smoothly into the frame and back. The back is available in vegan leather and textile-inspired finishes. Motorola collaborated with the Pantone Color Institute to create these unique colors.

Its display is truly remarkable. The refresh rate is 120Hz and the resolution stands at 1,220 x 2,712 pixels which exceeds the prior model’s 1080p+ resolution. The peak brightness for HDR content is capped at 4,500 nits. It is also capable of 10 bit color depth, full DCI-P3 coverage, and HDR10+ supporting. Additionally, the screen is shielded by the powerful Gorilla Glass 7i. Furthermore, DC dimming helps reduce flickering by lowering brightness levels.

Built for Durability

The phone is highly durable. It has an IP68/IP69 rating. It can survive in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. So, it can also withstand high-pressure water jets. The display remains responsive even when wet. The phone has passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability tests.

Strong Performance and Storage Options

The phone runs on either the Dimensity 7300 or 7400 chip, depending on the region. Both versions offer similar performance. It comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB.

It runs Android 15 with Moto AI. The AI features include audio transcription and summarization. Magic Canvas allows users to generate images using text prompts.

Advanced Camera System

The primary rear camera has a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The Photo Enhancement Engine adjusts settings automatically. It optimizes stabilization for action shots and adjusts shutter speed as needed.

The 13MP ultra-wide camera also functions as a macro shooter. It can focus on objects as close as 3cm. The 32MP front camera supports 4K video recording and quad-pixel binning for better low-light performance.

Motorola partnered with Pantone to ensure accurate colors. The cameras are Pantone-validated. A 3-in-1 light sensor improves color balance and reduces flickering.

Long-Lasting Battery and Fast Charging

Battery capacity varies by region. Some models have a 5,200mAh battery, while others feature a 5,500mAh version. Both are larger than the previous Edge 50 Fusion’s 5,000mAh battery.

Charging is fast with the 68W TurboPower charger. Motorola claims 8–9 minutes of charging is enough for a full day. However, the charger may not be included in every region.

Connectivity and Audio Features

With 5G support (via SIM+SIM or SIM+eSIM), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC, the phone also offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, but no 3.5mm headphone jack. The device’s USB-C port only allows for USB 2.0 data transfer speeds.

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is now appearing in different regions. In Germany and Spain, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs €330. In India, it will launch soon, starting at ₹21,000.

With its powerful display, AI features, and strong camera system, the Edge 60 Fusion is a solid option in its category.
