Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro leak hints at ultra-slim design with a large battery

Xiaomi has confirmed that a new Civi-branded smartphone is on the way, promising a balanced flagship experience in a compact form. While official details remain scarce, a fresh leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the device could set new standards for slimness while packing a substantial battery. The smartphone in question appears to be the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, which may offer significant upgrades over its predecessor.

Slim profile with a massive battery

According to the leak, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is expected to feature a remarkably slim body, measuring just 7mm in thickness. Despite its compact design, the device could house a 6000mAh battery, making it one of the thinnest smartphones to feature such a large power unit. If these details hold true, the Civi 5 Pro would surpass other compact flagship models in terms of battery capacity relative to thickness.

For comparison, the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi 15 comes with a 5,410mAh battery and has an 8.08mm body. Also, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini features a 5,700 mAh battery within an 8.15mm frame. The Civi 4 Pro from last year, in contrast, included a 4,700mAh battery and measured 7.5mm thick. The Civi 5 Pro could mark a significant leap in design, offering improved battery life in an even slimmer profile.

Flagship performance with Snapdragon chipset

The upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by a high-performance chipset from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series. Although the leak does not confirm the exact processor, previous reports suggest that the Civi 5 Pro may feature the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. If true, this would position the device as a capable flagship-level performer, delivering smooth multitasking and enhanced gaming capabilities.

Camera upgrades and premium design

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is expected to bring major improvements to its camera setup. It may include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
