Google’s YouTube Podcasts Platform
Back in 2023, Google made a move to consolidate its podcast experiences to YouTube, and this came at the massive cost of shutting down the platform known as Google Podcasts.
Almost a year later, Google made way for YouTube Music to feature podcast content from its previous platform, with users who have subscriptions asked to make the switch. Because of this, Google gave YouTube Music massive upgrades to have it ready for podcasts, including the ability to sort through episodes chronologically, a new Recommended show carousel, and more.
