Samsung surprised everyone at its recent Galaxy Unpacked event. Alongside the S25 series, a new model made a brief appearance. The company has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S25 Edge, but rumors suggest it will debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 on March 4.

Leaks about this device continue to surface. A new video gives us a closer look at its design and key features. Could this be the next big thing in smartphones?

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: A New Era for Ultra-Thin Phones?

Samsung is pushing the limits of thin smartphones. The S25 Edge may set a new standard before Apple’s iPhone 17 Air launch. The device was shown briefly at Unpacked, but no details were given. Now, leaks provide insight into its features.

A Mexican YouTuber recently shared a video of the device (Update: The video has been removed by the uploader). It remains unclear if the phone is a prototype or a test model. However, its design and features match previous leaks. This increases the chances of the device being real.

In the video, the S25 Edge is placed next to the Galaxy Z Fold6. The Z Fold6 measures 5.6mm when unfolded. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be 5.8mm thin. The S25 Edge appears to have a similar thickness. This confirms that Samsung is delivering on its promise of an ultra-thin design.

The display is expected to be a high-quality AMOLED panel. It will likely have a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and vivid colors. If true, it will offer a premium viewing experience.

Performance and Battery: Power Meets Efficiency

Leaks suggest the S25 Edge will have a 4,000mAh battery. While not the largest, Samsung could optimize power efficiency. This would ensure strong battery life despite the phone’s slim design.

There is no official word on the processor. However, rumors point to the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. This is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. If confirmed, users can expect top-tier performance, fast processing, and great efficiency.

Camera Capabilities: A Mixed Bag?

The leaked video also reveals some camera details. The device has a 12MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera. However, some believe the rear camera is an ultra-wide lens, not the main sensor.

The primary camera is rumored to be a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor. This is the same as the one in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. If true, it will offer high-resolution photography, great low-light performance, and sharp zoom capabilities.

The video shows the S25 Edge with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Samsung may also offer models with higher storage capacity. This will cater to users who need extra space for apps, photos, and videos.
