Honor is gearing up to introduce its new premium-mid-range smartphones under the Honor 400 series. According to rumors, the new lineup will debut around the middle of the year, which coincides with the launch of the Honor Magic V4 foldable smartphone. Despite the release, leaks are popping up with some of the specifications. Now, a new report details the screen size of the smartphones in this lineup. There will be a smaller model.

Honor 400 Series Display Specifications

The Honor 400 series will feature a model with a 6.5-inch Display with a “1.5K” resolution and flat corners. There will also be a 6.78-inch model with the same resolution, but a Quad-Curved design and symmetrical bezels on all four sides. This latter model is presumably the costlier variant in the lineup.

Both smartphones will impress in their battery capacity. Honor was the pioneer of the silicon-carbon battery technology in the smartphone segment. Naturally, we expect their new flagships to boast batteries with this technology which typically brings huge capacity while keeping a compact footprint. That said, both smartphones mentioned above will feature a huge 7,000 mAh cell. Both will also come with the unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

The new chipset should be Qualcomm’s response to a premium mid-range segment. It’s no surprise to see it on the Honor 400 since the 300 had the same chipset. The difference, however, was in the Pro version which left the mid-range category with an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen series SoC. Therefore, we can expect one of the Honor 400 series models to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Finally, it seems that there will be a new player in the lineup. The device could come as an Honor 400 mini to differentiate it from the standard Honor 400. The source of the information points to a new model with a smaller display with a 6.3-inch diagonal. That’s not as small as older smartphones, but still, it’s smaller than what we typically see in this industry.
