Nothing Phone 3a Confirmed For March Release — Here’s What to Expect On New Budget Phone

Fans have long awaited the next announcements from Nothing especially for this year, and that has been answered by the company with its confirmation of the March event that will showcase its next-gen budget smartphone, the Phone 3a. The company is also accepting sign-ups for users who want to know more about the smartphone leading up to the launch, with the midrange smartphone also confirmed for this year.

The question remains whether Nothing will still have plans to unveil the Phone (3) this year, a.k.a. its flagship that already skipped last year, with this being one of the most anticipated from the company because of its massive advancements, particularly with AI.

Nothing Phone 3a Series Confirmed, Launching This March

After the company revealed its latest quarterly update for the year 2025, Nothing went on to drop a bomb on its fans as it confirmed that the next smartphone is already awaiting its reveal later this year. However, it is the Nothing Phone 3a Series that will get a highlight come March 4 at 5 AM Eastern Time, and this is the company’s dedicated midrange smartphone lineup.

There have been slight changes to the budget lineup since last year’s release, particularly as it is now a ‘Series’ and no longer a standalone release, as evidenced by Nothing’s Phone 2a, Phone 2a Plus, and Phone 2a Community Edition.

Nothing has yet revealed any details behind the Phone 3a Series and what it has to offer, but the company is already inviting fans and users to sign up at its website to get more details about the launch.

Where Is The Nothing Phone (3) Flagship?

Despite the clear absence of details for the anticipated device, the Phone (3), Nothing still teased that its flagship is also joining the release this 2025, confirming that the smartphone will be part of this year’s showcase. There are still no confirmations when the Phone (3) will be revealed and will launch, but it is expected that Nothing will drop hints or teasers about the March event for the Phone 3a Series.

Nothing and Its Massive Developments

Last year, Carl Pei and Nothing focused on developing its renowned midrange smartphone lineup as the Phone 2a series took center stage as the company’s featured devices, having multiple events lined up for all. The company unveiled the Phone 2a in March, the Phone 2a Plus in July, and lastly, the Phone 2a Community Edition which featured a glow-in-the-dark body in October.

This followed the company’s flagship model, the Phone (2), which was last released in 2023, marking the first time that it was made available in the United States after the Phone (1) left the country. With this, the Phone (3) is already long overdue from the company in this fast-paced, annual smartphone update trend, but rumors revealed that the next flagship is already slated for 2025.

Rumors revealed that, unlike previous models, the Phone (3) will have multiple variants including the Phone (3) Pro and its base version, and Nothing will also release a new midrange device similar to the Phone (2a). The rumor has been proven to be correct on one end as Nothing is planning for a 2025 update of its budget version, with the Phone 3a series set to debut, but fans need not worry as there will also be news about the flagship in the March event.
